Tomohon

Tomohon sits at 800 metres between Mount Lokon and Mount Mahawu. The temperature drops, the air gets clean, and the landscape turns into the kind of highland Indonesia visitors rarely see: cool mornings, dense gardens, terraced vegetable plots.

It is an easy break from the heat of the coast and a natural overnight before or after Bunaken or Lembeh.
