Visa
Most visitors enter Sulawesi under Indonesia's standard tourist arrangements: visa-free, Visa on Arrival, or the eVoA pre-cleared online. Stays of 30 days are the norm.
How most travellers enter
Citizens of around 90 countries get either Visa on Arrival (€31, paid at the airport) or visa-free entry. Both grant 30 days. The eVoA is the same product, paid online before you fly.
Beyond 30 days
VoA and eVoA can be extended once for another 30 days at a local immigration office. Plan a buffer day for the appointment, or have us handle the paperwork as part of the trip.
At the desk
A passport valid six months past arrival, an onward or return ticket, and proof of accommodation. Indonesia also requires an electronic customs declaration — fill it the day before you fly.
