Why does this trip require 5 days?
Nantu Forest Reserve is one of the most secluded primary rainforests in Sulawesi. It requires a full day of land and river travel each way to access, plus required stopovers to process conservation entry permits.
What are the conditions at Nantu Base Camp?
Nantu is a protected nature sanctuary without commercial hotels. Accommodations inside the forest consist of simple wooden ranger station rooms or tented setups with basic, shared facilities.
